The Brief. Design a rustic bed to complement their existing wardrobe, with built-in head-board, bedside tables and space for clothes baskets underneath. Originally considering under-bed drawers, we instead developed a floating-bed design, creating a striking illusion of the bed hovering while providing open storage space beneath.
