Transform the feel of the room, create a distinct entertainment area with a more centred TV where the family could gather. Provide space for treasured ornaments and family photographs, while giving the room a stronger sense of separation and purpose.
The Brief. 
“I'd spoken to other companies who gave me quotes and ideas, but they were far too expensive and I didn't like their proposals. I almost gave up on the idea until a friend recommended Jason.
Jason visited my house and took so much time to talk with me about exactly what I wanted. He came up with some great solutions for what was a difficult space. I already had a chimney breast that couldn't be knocked down, but it was too small to hold the TV.
He was constantly in communication with me until we agreed on the final design, and even offered alternative materials to suit my budget. The final design and finish is amazing and we all love it. It has completely changed my living room.
He was also very accommodating when I changed what I wanted after most of it had been installed, but he managed to make it work! LOL — sorry about that Jason.”

The original set up............ Tv couldn't be moved to a central position because of the current chimney breast. Chimney breast couldn't be knocked down. Client wanted to keep some space on the right and not fill the whole back wall.
Current electric fire was removed but had the old space for a wood fire. Client wanted to try and re-use the electric fire.
A series of ideas and sketches were created until she was happy with my final proposal. 3D software was then used to help the client visualise the final result. Client also added a space for a new sound bar.
Framing to show how we were still going to use a section of the original chimney breast.
New wall paper up and start of the frame work, Plug sockets on the left had to stay where they were which would affect the left shelfing later in the build.
Most frame work up at this stage and bolted to the wall. Tv recess, sound bar and fire in place.
Client wanted to add completely new elements including extra recess and shelfs either side of fire.
I made it work, panelling and detail trims going up.
Shelfing done, client choose her colour and paintwork started.
Final build with lighting in place a few ornaments added.
